Dr. Kwesi Eghan DBA, MBA, MSc, B. Pharm

He has 30 years’ experience in pharmaceutical industry. He has worked in both the public and private health sector at both national and global level.
He has a vision to enhance access to medical products. He believes in utilizing private sector platforms to enable people in all nooks and crannies of Ghana and for that matter Africa to have access to much needed medicines.
He has worked for Sandoz pharmaceuticals and represented Novartis pharma of Switzerland for several years. He was part of the team that the Ghana government set up to  design the Ghana national health insurance scheme and served as a board member of the National Health Insurance Authority.
He had worked internationally for Management Sciences for Health supporting pharmaceutical and health systems strengthening efforts in several countries including but not limited to Afghanistan, South Africa, South Sudan, Liberia, Namibia and Kenya.
Dr Eghan is currently a board member of the MicrofinPlus rural bank, a bank to serve rural folks include farmers to access much needed capital for their work.  He now provides day to day  leadership of Medichem Pharmaceuticals through a good understanding of the pharmaceutical market and the public health needs of Ghana and West Africa.
